Electric City Ice Age Park

At just half an acre in size, the Ice Age Park will be Electric City’s first public park, and will provide multigenerational play and recreational experiences for the entire community. The park will feature an Ice Age-themed splash pad, a grassy play area, pathways, a picnic shelter, and restrooms. The playground area features a log “ice dam” climbing structure, a Steamboat Rock climbing feature, and a sand play and fossil area. A series of interpretive signs will inform residents and tourists alike about how the Ice Age Floods shaped the unique regional landscape. Plantings will emphasize native, waterwise vegetation.
