CVHS & UHS Artificial Turf Fields

SPVV led the effort to convert the natural turf football/soccer fields at Central Valley High School and University High School and provided design expertise on a third field installation. As the original fields had seen significant wear over their lifespan, and were expected to have increased use in the future, the district opted for the more durable, all-weather artificial turf. The new fields feature markings for football, soccer, and lacrosse, and are playable year-round. SPVV’s expertise in sports field design and artificial turf products and systems gave the district valuable guidance throughout the project, which was constructed through a Heavy-Civil-General Contractor/Construction Manager process.
